Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project schedule & planning which includes developing and coordinating realistic project plan, including key milestones, success metrics, and drive progress to achieve project plan within time and budget constraints from concept to launch for our valuable clients
• Manage end to end implementation project
• Ability to lead a team of large pool of Technocrats & vendors

Testing & Commissioning Engineer

Job Description

You will be working as Commissioning Engineer at our client sites and will be part of Instrumentation / Automation business area for Process Industries. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and you will be primarily responsible for acting as commissioning lead of projects with low to medium complexity. Ensuring completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Understanding logic and I or O list preparation, software development, simulation testing and FAT
• Checking hardware (Panels, Computer peripherals etc.), inspection or supervision of power, control, screened, communication, special cable laying, tightness checking of wiring and components inside panels (IO, CPU and server)
• Establishing and troubleshooting Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus and FO networks as per the system architecture drawing
• Testing or simulation of developed software along with customer, testing between field to IO panel and from IO panel to DCS or Operator station
• Checking and recording the CPU loading for each controller (with scan time and cyclic time) and PG Test as per the contract with respect to project
• Capturing customer complaints and timely solution, updating reusable solutions, working around, problems handled into database, following safety norms and ensuring safe working environment

Your Background

• Diploma or B. Tech or B.E in Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in Instrumentation / automation solutions by similar players
• Knowledge of DCS or PLC or SCADA or Instrumentation & HW or SW components, IT or Network or peripherals like UPS, printer, PC’s, server components of Automation system
• Knowledge in application programming and HMI development or modifications for PLC or DCS or SCADA systems and knowledge on Process / Substation/EMS Automation Products.
